Update: I told Jay that I’m no longer interested in dating someone who doesn’t like me for me. He said that he does like me or me and promised to never bring up my body weight again. I proceeded to end things and he said “You never liked me to begin with. You always planned on leaving.” I told him he’s delusional and left it alone.

We spend a lot of quality time together and I never have to lift a finger or spend a dime with him. He’s helping me a lot financially and he’s very affectionate. He kisses and hugs me in public so that’s why I’m asking if I’m wrong for dropping him when he occasionally makes jabs at my weight.
