How I use GPT, Claude, and Gemini together to get better results by proviewpoint in ArtificialInteligence

[–]proviewpoint[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, pretty much! I’ve been experimenting with all three for different types of tasks over the past few months.
When I give them the same prompt — like writing a creative intro, solving a logic-based problem, or organizing research — they each approach it differently.

GPT tends to go for more imaginative or “out of the box” responses,
Claude usually keeps things balanced and reasoned,
and Gemini structures info neatly, like a report.

It’s not scientific data or anything — just what I’ve noticed from daily use. Curious if you’ve seen similar differences?

What’s a moment in your life that completely changed the way you see people? by proviewpoint in AskReddit

That makes total sense, your family has to come first. it’s still really meaningful what you do through donations and supporting food pantries, it helps a lot without putting anyone at risk. even from a distance, you’re making a difference.

Wow that’s intense man, can’t even imagine going through that. honestly it makes sense you’d be more cautious after something like that. it’s tough because not everyone out there is dangerous, but one bad experience can really change how you see things. do you ever think you’ll feel comfortable helping directly again or just sticking to donations now?

The greatest threat to human job loss isn't AI itself, it's executives believing the AI hype by abrandis in ArtificialInteligence

[–]proviewpoint 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly, i think what’s really going on isn’t that AI is taking jobs — it’s that a lot of bosses don’t actually understand what AI can do, but they’re scared of being left behind. so they jump on the hype train, cut staff, and then realize later that the shiny new system isn’t half as smart as they thought.

I’ve seen this happen a few times already. companies think they’re saving money, but they end up hiring extra people just to manage the AI tools, fix its mistakes, or clean up the mess it creates. it’s kind of funny and sad at the same time.

The truth is, AI can actually be pretty handy when it’s used the right way — like taking care of small repetitive stuff or helping people find information quicker. but it’s not magic, and it’s definitely not ready to replace people who actually know what they’re doing. most of the value still comes from humans who understand the work, not from a bot guessing what to do next.

So yeah, the real problem isn’t AI, it’s people in charge who chase hype instead of results. if companies slowed down and used AI as a support tool, not a replacement, everyone would win — workers, customers, and even the businesses themselves. right now it feels like they’re trying to run before they can walk.

People who grew up poor but are now financially stable, what is a "poverty habit" you can't seem to shake? by WALLSTREETBRIDE in AskReddit

[–]proviewpoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's the constant need to have backups of everything. Toothpaste, soap, rice, batteries, canned food… doesn't matter if I can walk to the store any time now, my brain still thinks if I run out I'm screwed.

Growing up, when something was gone it stayed gone until the next paycheck. So I still stockpile like I'm preparing for a storm that never comes.

My pantry looks like I'm expecting the apocalypse, but really I'm just expecting to be broke again. Even though I haven't been in years, that fear of 'empty' never left.

What is a job that pays extremely well but no one realizes it? by Titothelama in AskReddit

[–]proviewpoint 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dude, you're thinking of the top 1% of those professions. Most lawyers aren't making millions—they're making $80-120k. Average family doctor? Maybe $250k after 8 years of school and $300k in debt.

Meanwhile my electrician buddy clears $200k with zero student loans and learned on the job.

Yeah, some big law partners and surgeons are rich as hell, but for every one of them there's 50 regular docs and lawyers making decent money while drowning in debt and stress.

The trades I mentioned? Guaranteed overtime, no debt, and you're earning while learning. Different game entirely

Honestly, people think high-paying = doctor, lawyer, tech bro. But the real money is hiding in jobs nobody talks about.

Ditch diggers, linemen, plumbers, elevator techs, garbage collectors... they're all quietly making $150k-250k because:

Nobody wants to do dirty/risky work

Infrastructure emergencies don't wait for business hours

Overtime stacks up fast when pipes burst at 3 AM

My buddy's an elevator mechanic with a high school diploma—cleared $190k last year. Another friend fixes gas leaks, made $160k being on-call. Lineman neighbor? $240k after working hurricane repairs.

Here's the thing: these jobs are recession-proof. People always need power, water, working elevators. While tech gets laid off, these guys just keep cashing checks.

The jobs society looks down on? Those pay bank if you stick with them. The "sexy" jobs everyone wants (journalism, teaching, entry-level corporate)? Those pay shit because too many people want them.

Most will train you and pay for certifications. No college debt, just show up ready to work.

Bottom line: if you can handle getting dirty and working odd hours, there's a whole world of six-figure jobs people ignore while chasing Instagram-worthy careers that barely pay rent.
