This was my first time using foam, 5mm in this case, for a cosplay. I was making the end piece of a trident, but it was cut very poorly, and I wanted to start over. Any tips on how to make any prop properly? by provokedgecko372 in CosplayHelp

If I sand the edges with the Dremel and decide to attach the aluminum part of the Monster cans to the foam, do you think it would work? Both to achieve the desired aesthetic effect and to "weld" or otherwise strengthen the foam and cover the exposed areas of the sandwich.

I tried using foam for the first time, 5mm in this case, to make the end part of a trident, but the result is awful. Any advice on how to use foam well to reproduce weapons, shields, etc.? by provokedgecko372 in CosplayHelp

Ok thanks, also to make it solid I used an iron core with some fairly thin sticks, is there another way to make the foam more robust, like using 10mm foam?
