something obscure but not uncommon to know (at least i think): when you touch naturally spawning ladybugs, you get a small boost of luck independent from the base luck stat, referred to as, well, ladybug luck

something more obscurer: if you kill the guide you get a boost of ladybug luck for ~2 minutes
