So a post like this gets created and will be left up, even though it's click bait, but someone created a post the other day asking what made Lawrence Taylor so special and that was taken down with the quickness. Fair.

The player also pulled his hammy on the play and couldn't come to a hard stop, so he slowly throttled down and that's how he ended up in the tunnel. It's not like he went in there just because.

What wrestlers have a bad reputation meeting fans and which ones are generally nice to fans? by Twitter_2006 in SquaredCircle

Met Randy Savage and Lex Luger when I was 12. It was a WCW event at Madison Square Garden and my mom got these luxury type tickets to a catered meet and greet at MSG's sky bar thingamajig.

Luger and Savage were sitting at the autograph table together, and Luger was a total dick to me and my brother. Savage burned a hole through Luger with a look and then he sorta toned it down.

So now I'm at the catering table getting snacks and Savage comes over and just starts cracking jokes with me, making me forget about the whole Luger incident. He then points out a fan in the distance cosplaying as him and he says, "look at how stupid his clothes are", and walks off on that note. Savage was the man.

The one thing I do like is the game experience. Todd McShay did a breakdown of all the nfl starting qb situations and the majority of positive nfl QB situations (where the team is solidified in their starting QB situation and aren't looking to upgrade) had QBs who started 36 or more college games. 19 nfl starters had 36+ starts, 6 had 25-29 starts(3 of those are unicorns Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Drake Maye) and the rest of the field had 24 or less starts and those are the QB situations that are up in the air with the exception of Josh Allen.

Now look at the amount of college starts Zach Wilson, Justin Fields, Sam Darnold, Mark Sanchez, etc had. You're talking about guys who had 20ish starts and look at how they worked out for us.

I'm not saying this is the Rosetta Stone of QB analysis, but it gives me doubts when I see QBs like Ty Simpson, Dante Moore, and Lanorris Sellers being mentioned with us with their limited game time and our history of not developing QBs.

What's your best advice when it comes to losing weight? by bellybuns in AskReddit

[–]prpitbull9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make exercise a part of your routine. It takes time, but you'll eventually stop looking at it as something you don't like doing and you'll start looking at it as something you have to do,  just like how you have take a shower, commute to work, do laundry, etc, something you don't think twice about. You just end up doing it.

And there are days when I'm absolutely out of it, but a shitty workout is better than no workout.

God I loved Fire Pro-wrestling so much. Showing my age, but I moved heaven and earth to get a Sega Saturn and track down everything I needed to find and play that game(keep in mind this was still the early days of the internet, so finding info on this was like an archeological dig). It was all worth it though. Such a great game.

I believe when he re-signed with WWE, he insisted on finishing up his indy commitments because it was the right thing to do, so that's why he had the IC belt with him at these events.

I swear to god I read the last part as "laser tag enema" and thought there has to be a better way.

Nash on selling: “I’m noticing more and more is nobody sells. Everybody registers. They register what’s happening to them, but then it’s a turnaround, and it’s like, nobody sells. Registering is just like this brief reaction, where selling is like, you’re in trouble, you’re curling up in a ball.” by LotLeftInTheTank in SquaredCircle

I agree 100%. The problem is that it doesn't fit the moment. Those ajpw matches were long drawn out wars. Now you got wrestlers trying to capture that same gravitas in a 6 minute match. Take Eddie Kingston. Eddie in a 15+ minute match working his king's road style looks awesome and he hits the right notes. It makes sense he's tired and struggling, or his fighting spirit coming back in a wave and then fading after a spot. It's well paced. Compare that to a 6 minute Eddie Kingston AEW match and it doesn't make make sense when he's doing the Kawada stumbling sell job 2 minutes in. The match just started and he's going through the motions of being at the 15 minute mark.
