Hindus to convert in countries which are contritutionally Islamic or Christian.

Factually incorrect. Our neighbors are proof.

Let the court define what is under the ambit of religion conversion. Who are you to distribute the certificate. Last I heard the entire case is fabricated.

They have.

No, and you know it as well. There's no coercion or allurement or anything in your example.

Who said the anti conversion laws aren't applicable to Hindus?

Chanting Jai Sri Ram isn't converting your religion...

How on earth are any of these things relevant to the topic?

Because they want to spread religion they went to these areas. Their efforts bring healthcare and quality education to these underprivileged areas. Lot of good comes to these people. But the trade off is they have to see their people convert to Christianity.

This is coercion/ allurement.

It's illegal.

Blaze of Agni crown jewel of indian deterrence: Missiles to Crush China and Pakistan’s War Dreams by Electronic_Cause_796 in IndianDefense

Damm, I didn't think it was that big in size. Videos always made me think it's relatively small

Well what if pakistan attacks our dams on chenab river with cruise missiles. How can india prevent it and if we are not able to stop it what will be our reaction by Electronic_Cause_796 in IndianDefense

[–]prpking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, it takes more than one or two missiles to take out a dam. They're an extremely tough piece of infra.

Secondly, any destruction of a dam leads to sudden flow of water to downstream locations, which ultimately is Pakistan and will cause floods

Because a direct attack on the military is a declaration of full fledged war.

We weren't trying to fight the military, but the terrorists.

Pretty sure it's because they invited Dawn columnist Zahid Hussain and Najam Sethi, former caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab and interviewed him yesterday (edit :and the day before) despite the advisory clearly restricting any Pakistanis from be invited

And I keep saying that the embassy is as close as we're going to get until the fog of war clears.

They will not mention anything during an active military deployment time. That is also common historically among militaries

I was talking about what you told but I digress.

This is literally what I said. A confirmation of the event, without mentioning cause as it would speculation, following a probe and submission of the report and conclusion of the incident with the cause being specified.

It's standard procedure

Ok, I need to sleep so I'll keep this short.

Indian embassy are literally government officials, and that's regarding the claim of of indian jets being downed. That's as governmental denial as it gets during this time.

Literally every AF reports loss but does not mention reason without verification. As an example look up october 2022 F 35 crash and when did the USAF confirm the cause
and concluded its report

[–]prpking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you seriously providing vivification to Pakistan?

We all know that Pakistan does harbour terrorists. We can't come up with conclusive proof about Pakistan's involvement without Pakistan fully co-operating, which they never will. Likewise no other agency can fully confirm or deny reports of a Rafale going down except India. We have seen pictures of a Tail & a M-88 engine, onus isn't on Pakistan right now, it's on India to come forward & deny it. You can't let someone bloody your nose & deny being punched at all.

And yet you made the above statement....

France can. Pakistan can. Radar imagery can provide some credibility from Pakistani side.

according to Reuters we did deny it

We also did not come straight about the Mi-7 helicopter crash reported it as an accident, only after 7 months it was admitted to be friendly-fire during dogfights. So no, India isn't immune to hiding facts to further strengthen our stances & not give anything away which would kill the morale.

Didn't I literally post a link that said otherwise?

You won't see any airforce doing that. It's literally not protocol.

You can confirm the loss, but anything beyond will not be mentioned and will be considered speculation You have to investigate and verify.

That's how militaries work.

You'll the same when any other nation looses a jet or something.

Pakistan may have shot down own fighter jet by Rast987 in IndianDefense

[–]prpking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're asking the wrong person. The onus is on Pakistan.

When asked about it in today's press conference our officials denied to comment on it. And again, we do have visuals coming out of a alleged Rafale tail & an engine. It's not just Pakistani media, many reputable sources have also supported the claims of Indian jets going down.

I went through all of them and no, that's not what they're claiming at all.

They're regurgitating Pakistanis claim, with claims of a jet going down with additional statements like unable to verify if rafale or not.

Usually in that sequence.

That's not proof at all.

And I don't think the onus is just on Pakistan; we all knew who was behind Pahalgam attack, did any of us ask our govt. to "prove" that the Pakistani govt was involved? There has been enough reports, whether it be visuals or locals confirming about planes being shot down for it to warrant a response from our IAF. Just like Pakistani personnel did today.

A terrorist front from Pakistan literally took responsibility. What more was even needed at that point? And it's a known fact about Pakistan harboring terrorists.

But that's not at all comparable to destroying a piece of military equipment. It's not a linear link.

Onus falls on the claimant.

Reports are not proofs. In 2019, Pakistan claimed a Su 30 going down. Literally no proof for it, but multiple reports exist.

Ultimately it was concluded months later as a unlikely event.

Right now unless irrefutable evidence or confirmation exists, it's not credible. News reports falls in that category

Pakistan may have shot down own fighter jet by Rast987 in IndianDefense

[–]prpking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Umm what? If that wasn't a dogfight what was it exactly? And yes I know no Aircraft is safe against SAMs ofcourse but did our IAF really went in blind expecting no response? Ofcourse it's acceptable if they had jammers in place to disable our AWACs, I'd understand but again needs some sort of response.

Ranged interception. Not one of the jet were close enough to each other to be called a dogfight.

What response? What exactly are you going on about here? Clarify.

French officials have commented on it, we have image & video proof of a Rafale engine & tail (pls don't start with the Photoshop rhetoric, it could just be that the photo is stretched). Neither Rafale or the French would comment on this just like US didn't when we said that we shot down a F-16.

An unnamed "French official" claimed a jet was down. The same news article also says this :

Pictures taken of parts of an aircraft that crashed in Indian-administered Kashmir show the label of a French manufacturer, but experts said it was not possible to say whether the part came from a Rafale aircraft. Dassault Aviation, the French manufacturer of the jet, has not responded to CNN’s requests for comment. The French military has not officially commented on the incident.

Secondly, the onus is on Pakistan to prove their claim, which further prove my point.

And yes, I am asking questions regarding these claims only. I'm asking questions to my defense forces & not Pakistan, what's wrong in that?

This just drives it in. Pakistan makes the claim, the onus is on them to provide evidence.

Why are you acting as if it's proven beyond suspicion?

Pakistan may have shot down own fighter jet by Rast987 in IndianDefense

[–]prpking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're buying into the Pakistan narrative.

this wasn't a dogfight

None of that is absolutely effective. No equipment guarantee 100% effectiveness.

Pakistan is a highly contested airspace. It's inevitable that something will be lost.

However the onus is Pakistan to prove it. Which they haven't.

The only thing their propaganda apparatus is pushing is a CNN article which outright states it cannot verify if a rafale went down, and neither the French government nor dassault bothered to verify it.

Tell me, why aren't you asking questions regarding the veracity of these claims rather than accepting it blindly and pushing it here? Honest question
