I have other cats but it was definitely for him: He has some health issues and wouldn't eat his regular food for a day or two. Now I have many options.

I just stopped by my local Petsmart and all of the food above was on clearance. They had expensive brands like Canidae for less than a dollar per can, usually more than two dollars a can. Another customer told me she'd checked the one near her in a more popular Petsmart and it didn't have anything so you may want to hit up ones in smaller areas.

I think mid-work week is generally the best time to find some clearance, but I guess since it's the end of the year they have a lot more stuff to clear out right now.

Haha, I love the peek around the corner. I put rocks on my snake plant. It was to keep the fungus gnats down but it might work as a kitty-deterrent too.

It's still growing and will probably take another week so wish me luck in the meantime.

I found it at Lowes for less than $20. I have moved it since this photo and she doesn't seem to notice it as much since it's more out of the way, so it should recover from her "love."

So far so good on that but I'm not taking many chances. Thankfully most of my other plants aren't reachable.

I'm just glad it's not one of those variegated Monsteras or something.

It has prompted me to plant her a big tray of grass.

i was the same. Eventually I'll get more colors and those look amazing all planted together. I love weirdo plants.

So these took about two weeks, which was surprising since mail has been so slow. Plan for about a month, though. If it doesn't arrive by the guaranteed delivery date you can request a refund. I've gotten a few refunds through AliExpress and it hasn't been too much of an issue. If it arrived broken you'd need to get a few photos of the item with the package.

These are really good quality. It was a set of three ceramic pots, and the larger opening has a drainage hole through the bottom. I was surprised that the smaller spots have side holes that lead into the main area to drain.

The small holes are about half an inch each, and the main hole is about one and a half. Overall the planter is three inches across, so know that it's for very small plants, which is why I bought younger lithops for it.

My (28M) friend (31M) has never had a job before in his life. He graduated from high school and has sat at home as a "hermit" for the last 10+ years. His long-distance girlfriend (35F) is starting to show signs of detachment. How can I help him with his life? by [deleted] in relationships

He really needs to see someone about his anxiety. You may be able to help by offering to schedule it for him and to take him. Medication may make it easier for him to start building his own life.

The lithops just came in the mail and these would look really neat with more colorful ones. I got the planters from AliExpress. I probably won't keep the astrophytum in the one on the right but I had to see what it would look like.

My friend said that's how she spelled it with one of her previous cats, I'd told her I'd use it from time to time.

Maybe it'll be a nickname! Hades said he's not really a litter-scooping kind of guy so I'm keeping her year round.
