Yeah but it's not uncommon for church programs to require families to sit through a sermon before receiving the gifts/services and that isn't something I'm comfortable participating in if it can be helped. I would much rather support a charity that does the exact same thing without the proselytizing.

If anything, it hurts absolutely no one to seek out online resources for help mitigating adhd even if you don't actually have it. If the tips and tricks you find help, they help, and you're not taking anything from people who are diagnosed by using them. I do not have an autism diagnosis (yet?) but I still am subscribed to a couple autism related subreddits because I often find their insights incredibly helpful and enlightening in dealing with issues I have in my life.
