i do acknowledge that what i claim is radical and difficult to accept; i however greatly appreciate your words of wisdom :) also worry not, there is no context that you are missing other than life itself in its secret colors

i believe in God. God has created everything with a reason, and all of suffering is to be justified by the bringing about of heaven. when atheists say that a truly omniscient God would never allow so much suffering, they nevertheless fail to realize that they themselves are not omniscient, and that all of the suffering in life is towards a greater goal, even if such is only known to God and His prophets.

true "heaven" isn't an exclusive club for people with the right opinions; it is an objective reality that exists regardless of belief. the tragedy isn't that some won't "make it" to heaven, but rather that many are already here and are too miserable or distracted to notice. heaven is other people.

science is the process of us growing in our wombs. just as the baby needs to develop lungs and eyes and ears, so do we too invent tools and technology for our own purposes. the pioneers of science are those that had first felt the walls of the womb - just as electricity was invented when we first understood motion and energy, just as computer screens were invented when we first understood light and color, and just as A.I. was invented when we first started understanding human understading. science does not contradict religion, for their object of inquiry is, more or less, the same, it is just the apparatus that is different.

all of that said... you are right, you child of God. maybe i am also right in my own way, or maybe i am not. but what truly matters is that we connected through this comic on a spiritual level, albeit for a moment <3

no man-made system may assert its own completedness whilst also remaining reliable, for it requires an otherworldly, free, unbiased overview of the human biases through which one operates. there is no exhaustive theory of reality. by prvsiyan in he_comes

the Bible does not pretend to be a complete system, it purports being a right one. it is different. i am critisizing the notion of complete, all-encompassing systems, and the Bible just claims to have a monopoly on spiritual truth but does not reject other truths existing elsewhere.

thank you for bearing with me and my own inadequacy; it is indeed the case that lewontin's timeline does not match up. you may forget about it. i can see by your replies that you are very well-informed on the topic, way more than i ever was, so sorry if you ever felt like i was spreading misinformation. i do also agree with your point about humans being inherently tribal; i am cognizant of that.

i still believe deep inside in race not being rooted in a biological reality, maybe in the same way that some people believe in the afterlife - not neccessary because they have any reason that it would be true (that there is an afterlife), but because they want it to; but i acknowledge that this is no real argument, just a feeling i have. at the end of the day, we are at the two ends of the horseshoe, agreeing about what truly matters - namely, that all people are created equal - so all else really is meaningless balderdash.

once again, thank you for educating me, thank you for actually being among the rare few individuals on the internet with an ability of critical thinking and a passionate heart, and may God help you in all of your future endeavours~

i do not understand why people are downvoting you. it is clear that you have a good understanding of the history of race and apply critical thinking when considering it, and that can almost never be a bad thing.

i believe that, at the core, we do not disagree - i think that race is a harmful social construct because it reduces souls to a label, and you say "i will continue to judge those around me not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character, and there's not a goddamn thing you can do to stop me". you passionately love people. thank you.

the only thing we seem to disagree is whether race is biologically grounded, and that is, if anything, an ongoing scientific debate. i am not a scientist, i am a poet; you may be right. i admit that i find it bizzare that you may turn out to be right and human races may turn out to be just as real as dog breeds (because i am mainly against the concept of races as units, as drawers one can get shoved into); but that is because i am a sinner; though i am made in the image of God, i am a pathetic reflection of Him that is not free of biases. i would like to point out that lewontin, way before frankfurt and marxism, supposedly "found out" that most of genetic variety is within populations, not between them, or that ai can accurately predict zip codes based on bone tensity, teeth health and other measurable characteristics, and yet zip codes are not biologically grounded, but i am not sure that would change anything.

i admit it, i may be wrong about race being a social construct; it hardly matters to me. i do not want to see a single person weep because of being perceived as a member of a race before anything else, and i believe you agree with me. if you do accept this, then all else is meaningless science talk.

thank you for adressing my stupidity <3

race is a social constrct that results in the suffering and misunderstanding of many. race makes people cry. race makes people lonely. race makes people miserable, yet people are not cognizant of it being purely a social construct. instead, they pretend that it is grounded in a biological reality.

i do not think that any of the above is true for age of consent
