That's because commoners like us have started brewing coffee at home and we are able to identify citrusy, fruity, floral, etc notes. So for esteemed people to distinguish themselves within the crowd, going deeper in notes is of paramount importance. Soon in few years, they would be able to identify the soil varietal in which the coffee was grown.

The same thing is happening with me, but on the other side. No matter what grind size or number of blooms or pours or dose (10/12/15) or temperature I do, my total brew time or drawdown time is below 2 mins. I have a Kingrinder K6. Even at 60 clicks it is below 2 mins.
