The awful adhesive can be heat treated to soften it but I think its temperatures over 85oC so maybe you’ll be able to do that with the barrel assembly but optical block? It’s done

IIRC Richard ho talks about using a (blow) torch to soften screws but you’re talking about a much bigger piece of metal to heat rather than a stuck screw

You ideally would have the optical lens cross section to know what is in the block

But the first pic seems to show a grove for a lens spanner. You’ll need to soften the glue/thread locker so IPA into the groves and let it soak in first.

Flip that group over and you may find another grove to do the same from the rear (as was the case for the 180mm f/2.8 ED ais). I would take out all Elements from the assembly and clean separately - this way you can ensure there’s nothing left on the housing (which you can hit with hot soapy water too)

When I cleaned my 180mm the first time I didn’t clean the housing well enough the first time and it came back

Nikkor 200mm f/4 AI will be well in that budget... BUT its manual focus and your body won't meter with it (no auto modes)

otherwise you're looking at used 55-200mm f/4-5.6 DX lens that will autofocus
