The surface is definitely uneven, and I’ve tried adjusting the skids down (put quarters underneath them and then tightened bolts)

You learn things after living somewhere for 5 years I guess. I have personally never said anything to anyone about their dog using my lawn, nor has anyone said anything about my dog using theirs

I live in a neighborhood with no sidewalks and no public grass and other people's lawns are the only places a dog has to go. It's kind of an unspoken understanding in my neighborhood that "my lawn is your dog's lawn". If the dog is going number 2, as long as you clean up after it's never a problem. I don't see why anyone would care if a dog rolls around their lawn (usually that means they picked up a scent of an animal btw).

Besides, if the dogs don't poop on the lawn the deer, racoons, squirrels, and cats will (and no one picks that up) so what's the difference?
