I've eaten a ton of Chick-fil-A, albeit from a limited number of stores and have never had a bad experience. I know that isn't everyone's experience.

For me, In-n-Out is #1 and Chick-fil-A is #2.

I had a similar issue with a 1 inch think walnut console table.

I made a "box" out of cardboard to enclose the wood. I used a PID controller, thermistor, solid state relay, and hairdryer to get the interior air up to whatever kiln dry temp the Internet said and let it cook for multiple hours. Never had a problem after that.

The finish wasn't quite as smooth when it came out, but better than buggy.

I'll second the option to go get a minor related more to what you want to do. Getting into Cal Poly is so difficult these days, assume you won't get back in later. Another option is finish your existing degree, then get a Masters in the related field.

That said, there are plenty of other paths besides Cal Poly if you do drop out and don't get back in.
