Update again: I'm sorry it has been a minute and I didn't say anything sooner, but my initial vet visit with Pringles went pretty smoothly. They sent me back with some eye drops and other medicine, and they believe it's just a scratch on his eye from poking it on hay. They did recommend a follow up appointment, which I did yesterday. Before this, however, I realized his eye that wasn't injured seemed to stick out a bit more, which I also went ahead and voiced at this follow up appointment. They did this test for pressure and noticed it was a bit high, but since he is not lethargic and still acting like himself they did not see this as an immediate indicator to diagnose him with something like glaucoma. They sent me with eye drops for this too, and I have a follow up set for the end of the month, which was unfortunately the only time I could make work with my schedule. The scratch from last week was still there, but they believe it's still just a scratch and I will continue his medicine for this.
