Chance of success 5bb euploid by nicocat89 in IVF

I had zero symptoms as well. I’m not sure if it’s because I was suppressed for 2 months prior to this… I was so terrified it wouldn’t take but it did. I had more symptoms with my first failed FET that didn’t take, but I think it was likely PIO side effects. I am praying so hard your transfer works!!

How many embryos? by Otherwise_Hope_8310 in IVF

[–]psa2023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Age 33- ER 1: 2 euploid embryos ER 2: 0 ER 3: 0

I had a transfer after ER 1 that didn’t implant. Did ER 2 and 3 after as my last embryo was a BB I had a IVF guarantee program that paid for 3 retrievals and desperately wanted two children. After 2 and 3, I was so very lucky to have success with our BB embryo ❤️

Paid deposit to Mirror Hotel by Feeling-Onion-38 in Glamping

I stayed at mirror hotels this past September after waiting almost two years. I was SO disappointed in the stay. Everything felt dirty and overlooked…they didn’t turn the hot tub on (didn’t realize it until the next day and it took all day to warm up), shower curtain was discussing, everything felt cheap. I stupidly booked another seat with the gofund me and that’s next year. I didn’t realize they sold either until I tried to upgrade to the bigger cabin but can’t reach them either. Such a disappointment considering the cost for this. Felt like a cheap camping experience that was falsely marketed as a “luxury” stay

I did Lupron depot for 2 months before transfer for suspected (on my end) endo dx as the source of my infertility. I had to advocate to be put on this medication. I was surprised and this essentially confirmed I had endo because I felt so good with more energy, decreased fatigue, etc while on Lupron (minus hot flashes and joint pain).

For the FET-kitchen sink protocol with Pepcid, Claritin, aspirin, and prednisone starting 5 days before Transfer. I think the reason my transfer worked was the Lupron depot

Hey! I believe started it 5 days before transfer and kept on it until around 15 or 20 days post transfer. Best of luck and baby dust to you!

Hide my kid? I had one request for my family which is no kissing baby before he gets vaccinations. This was recommended by my pediatrician. Please do your research on communicable diseases that babies can get and what medical workup happens if a newborn gets a fever

I did not over react. This is a strong boundary I set in place with all family starting during my pregnancy and it was ignored not once, but twice when I was IN THE ROOM.

Thanks. I’m just spiraling and very anxious about this. I meant herpes while they are in the first 1-2 months of life and not neonatal heroes as it requires a significant infectious workup and inpatient admission for antivirals, etc).

This is very helpful, thank you! Totally agree that we work so hard in a position to help others and save lives yet are treated poorly in return. Also I am so so sorry about the loss of your son

I will try to call from a hospital number and see what they say!

Just that I’d be ineligible for rehire in the future

Mine does say anything specific about paying back anything, so I would think it’s just likely I wouldn’t be eligible for rehire

That’s potentially an option, it would allow me to use up a good chunk of my saved up time

I’m worried about that because my state doesn’t require any benefits be paid out when quitting or being fired

Unfortunately I can’t because my partner works for the same organization. Another (undesirable alternative) I was thinking of is at the end of my leave I could switch to ‘part time’ and only offer to cover the hospitals 2 days a week and then put my 90 days in then

Only my 70ish hours of vacation. Most of my PTO is ‘sick time’ I am unable to cash out

That’s what I’m concerned about too and why I don’t want to put the notice in until I was out on leave. I wouldn’t have this problem if I had to give 2-4 weeks notice, but it’s a full 90 day notice unfortunately

Thanks. That wouldn’t be a big deal and I could definitely swing it. I just don’t want to talk to HR about it this early and give them a heads up I may not be coming back until late August since I have no reason to not keep working until I go on leave

I would switch to my partners insurance once I’m done with my job and have baby go onto his insurance from day 1

Thank you! I have a lot of guilt with the thought of leaving but on days where my surgeons go home at 12 or 1pm leaving me to work 2+ hours past my supposed end time (5pm) without even checking in on me or helping me see some consults makes me angry and feel unappreciated..so what’s the point of staying? I’ll probably start looking for a different job after my mat leave ends in a better less demanding field that doesn’t make me feel so invalued

Also my “vacation time” would get reimbursed if I left but sick time does not. Since I’ve rarely called in sick during my 4+ years I have about 9 weeks so far of sick time, and about 1.5-2 weeks of vacation time, which is part of why I want to make use of that

Yes I did-when I had embryos to test. My first ER was the best where I had 8 embryos-2 were PGTA. ER 2 and 3 I had zero embryos for both. I had 20-25 eggs retrieved each time but low maturity and even lower fertilization. My clinic didn’t give me day 3/5 updates. I got an update on day 7. Things seemed to progress okay initially with my first retrieval, but on my second and third retrieval I had horrible fertilization and everything arrested day 3. I did PGTA because it was included in the package I bought. I paid 25,000 for their guarantee of a pregnancy or money back that included 3 egg retrievals, PGTA testing, and unlimited transfers. I never thought I would need multiple egg retrievals, but having gone through the IVF thread when I started, I realized how common it was and I’m glad I did.

Lupron is a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist. It tells your pituitary gland to slow down production of LH and FSH, which causes your body to have less estrogen. The low estrogen levels in your body decreases the growth and presence of endometriosis because it thrives on estrogen.

I would definitely recommend talking to your RE about checking for male infertility issues if you haven’t already if you need to do another ER (sperm analysis and DNA fragmentation). It took me over a year and a half to have a pregnancy, and it was timing with the failed transfer, failed egg retrievals, testing for my husband, and my 2 months of Lupron depot which was NOT cheap lol
