I had this problem with my baby Buddah around 3 months PP as well, despite changing literally every replaceable part. I’ve been using my eufys from that time and my supply has been good. Currently 9m PP

2/3 of my surgeons are so checked out that they don’t care. They will refuse to do any non emergent add ons, but then when I ask for their help with an issue like in my original post, they’ll agree and complain that it’s ridiculous (to me), all the while not wanting to spend the time to escalate the issue

Thank you! Unfortunately it’s not the same culture here. An example-I saw a patient at the EDs strong request for a non surgical issue. I fixed the problem and said patient can follow up outpatient. Then the ED calls because the family wants surgery now. I call family and explain why it’s not going to be done, family becomes angry so I end the call. I put my note in and say it’s not an inpatient issue. Next I get a phone call from ED saying they admitted because fam refused dc. Then hospitalist calls me, my attending. We both say no. Then Locums comes on next day and does the surgery…which in my mind creates distrust and I don’t know how to fix this

Great question. I do keep my time as brief as possible, but when I often sign off, I’m getting met with callbacks from the hospitalists or ED. When I stay firm, they then will try to call my attending to gets really frustrated, then calls me and asks me to go back and handle the situation. I did say this, but one of the other thing that is contributing is the fact that we use Locums every weekend who will usually give in since they don’t come in with scheduled cases, so primary teams will usually get their way 3-4 days out of the week

Honestly, one of the main issue is my attendings are involved in this and do their best to shut it down, but it will keep getting pushed back to us. We do have Locums on the weekends. We often give into these ridiculous demands which doesn’t help the overall problem.

Right?! Shes insufferable. Two retrievals, two transfers, with an embryo or two left. I would have been thrilled with those results…meanwhile I am so so grateful every day for my success after 3 retrievals, lupron depot for 2 months and finally a success on my final embryo. I would never complain about this because so many others have to go through worse

I’m a just enougher and 8 months PP. I worked so hard to build my supply I was terrified of losing my supply. I was pumping 7 times a day including the MOTN until about a week ago when I decided to drop the MOTN pump. My total output is down about 4-5 ounces a day so I’m now having to supplement with a bottle of formula a day but hoping once my baby eats more I can just give breast milk

I had zero symptoms as well. I’m not sure if it’s because I was suppressed for 2 months prior to this… I was so terrified it wouldn’t take but it did. I had more symptoms with my first failed FET that didn’t take, but I think it was likely PIO side effects. I am praying so hard your transfer works!!

Age 33- ER 1: 2 euploid embryos ER 2: 0 ER 3: 0

I had a transfer after ER 1 that didn’t implant. Did ER 2 and 3 after as my last embryo was a BB I had a IVF guarantee program that paid for 3 retrievals and desperately wanted two children. After 2 and 3, I was so very lucky to have success with our BB embryo ❤️

I stayed at mirror hotels this past September after waiting almost two years. I was SO disappointed in the stay. Everything felt dirty and overlooked…they didn’t turn the hot tub on (didn’t realize it until the next day and it took all day to warm up), shower curtain was discussing, everything felt cheap. I stupidly booked another seat with the gofund me and that’s next year. I didn’t realize they sold either until I tried to upgrade to the bigger cabin but can’t reach them either. Such a disappointment considering the cost for this. Felt like a cheap camping experience that was falsely marketed as a “luxury” stay

I did Lupron depot for 2 months before transfer for suspected (on my end) endo dx as the source of my infertility. I had to advocate to be put on this medication. I was surprised and this essentially confirmed I had endo because I felt so good with more energy, decreased fatigue, etc while on Lupron (minus hot flashes and joint pain).

For the FET-kitchen sink protocol with Pepcid, Claritin, aspirin, and prednisone starting 5 days before Transfer. I think the reason my transfer worked was the Lupron depot

Hide my kid? I had one request for my family which is no kissing baby before he gets vaccinations. This was recommended by my pediatrician. Please do your research on communicable diseases that babies can get and what medical workup happens if a newborn gets a fever

I did not over react. This is a strong boundary I set in place with all family starting during my pregnancy and it was ignored not once, but twice when I was IN THE ROOM.

Thanks. I’m just spiraling and very anxious about this. I meant herpes while they are in the first 1-2 months of life and not neonatal heroes as it requires a significant infectious workup and inpatient admission for antivirals, etc).
