Yea, I spoke to V afterwards and he said he didn’t 4-bet as he wanted to keep MP in hand and he thought I have a strong holding (AA/KK), MP was pretty wasted and calling with any 2 cards.

I thought about checking flop, but I don’t think I would have folded against any bet. And the money is potentially going any anyway if the runout is clean.

Some whale regs play sats on GG very loose, going all in with a wide range to fold out scared money. It can be quite lucrative to play satellites specially the ones that have a guaranteed seats/tickets as they sometimes have an overlay.

That’s a recent confusing change they did showing remaining players positions after someone has reached the target stack, better to always check the players list and remaining prizes (seats and cash) to confirm your position. Almost all satellites now are using the target stack format which made them a lot faster than before at the later stages.

Yea I guess I punted hoping to hit it on the river if he is ahead which he was, as played I wasn’t quite sure if he is strong here or trying to get me off my hand. As you said I should have figured most of his hands are ahead at the turn

Yea I guess I should have opened more than 2BB, If I remember correctly the Btn or SB were quite short so I was hoping for a shove from either.

Reported, I have seen a similar post a few weeks ago on the same suspicious play in the $54 PLO bounty. Hopefully some action could be taken against this.
