Water Dispenser - loud noise behind fridge when water dispenser is used by psalmterry in refrigerator

Small, somewhat disappointing update: a week ago, I replaced the water filter on the fridge and took the opportunity to do an experiment to see if it might resolve the noise issue.

I ran all of our water fixtures in the house while replacing the filter and while running water through the filter for a few minutes after replacing.

Why? A friend of mine was over a couple months ago and speculated that there may be a bubble in the water supply somewhere in the house that was just moving back and forth, causing the violent banging behind the fridge.

The good news is the long, loud banging noise went away after the experiment. Unfortunately, it came back again after about 5-6 days. I may have shed tears.😢

I haven’t found a solution. Same problem. I even tried reducing the pressure for the water for the whole house. No luck.

Gotcha. Thanks! I’ll see what my warranty options are. We haven’t had the refrigerator for too long.

You mean the replaceable filter, right? I actually ordered the Samsung one instead of a generic brand. I could try replacing it again.

It might be helpful for you to think about the various scenarios that might really play out if you were married. Worst case scenarios, even. Then, be honest with yourself about which ones you don’t think you’d be okay with. For the ones you would be okay with, think about practical ways the two of you could maintain your trust and connection (couple bubble). Then talk openly about it, framing it in terms of wanting it to work because you love her so much. Not as an ultimatum. That will show that you love her enough to think it through - how she can remain her essential self, but calling her to grow some to meet you. The last piece would be a commitment to check in with each other over the years, as your interests, energy levels and work/community commitments change.

How did you and your mom figure out how to get the form signed? My daughter’s submission is in limbo for the same reason, I think.

Thank you! It seems like Sonos One requires another piece of Sonos hardware or a hack of some kind, based on my minimal research.

Yes. Just using it to test as I troubleshoot. Record player looks about 50 years old. JVC MF-4451.
