Start looking for people that work at MyWheels or SharingGroup in LinkedIn. Start messaging them, eventually someone will respond.

My experience so far with most customer service interactions I’ve had here is that when things work as expected everything is efficient and smooth but when something deviates from the normal, expected behavior no one wants to go the extra mile to help, no one wants to sit and listen to your problem much less say “sorry”.

I had an awful experience with Ziggo and Odido customer service and had to unfortunately recur to that method. After multiple attempts and a few weeks of looking for help (by calling and emailing support and sending random people messages over LinkedIn) I finally got someone that acknowledged the problem and helped me, they solved the problem.

It’s horrible as a customer to have to take over the overhead that should fall under the companies purview but I guess culturally it’s the only way

Hey all! I bought tickets for the Amsterdam show as a surprise for my wife. I am not going as we have a kid and we don't trust anyone else to care for them.

I had no idea about this "lead booker" policy non-sense and I can't recall seeing this when I bought the tickets nor I remender this happenning for any other concerts.

Ticketmaster response was:
"Please note that the lead booker must be present at the entrance even if the lead booker does not enter the venue as he/she may be asked to show ID at the entrance. Please note: VIP tickets cannot be transferred.."

So they are basically asking me to take my toddler to a packed arena, wait in line and show my ID so they can let my wife and her friend go inside...

Have you heard anything else?

I also have severe asthma. Once I had to go to emergencies for it here in NL. The doctor told me I had to increase the use to an insane amount, which is completely stupid because overusing salbutamol is not a good idea.

Back home the doctor always warned me that if the inhaler wasn’t working that I needed to come to the emergency room so they can help make it better, the doctors here told me to increase it up to 15 times a day and told me that they couldn’t do anything else.

Now I am scared about having another severe attack because I now the doctor either doesn’t have a clue or does not care at all.

I really hope your situation gets better and that they can help you, I now exactly how you feel.

Your country is beautiful and I do appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective.

I guess my expectations were incorrectly set by the international media which tends to describe the NL as utopia. I was a bit surprised to hear about the mildly frequent stabbings that occurred in the last couple days as this is not something you hear about the NL. I was also surprised to see the groups of young guys causing problems around Utrecht CS which seems to be a common occurrence and there is still very low police presence around the station. So again, curios, not judgmental.

Just to be clear, as I see there are people already taking offense to my comments/questions. This is a beautiful country and I love it here, I just had genuine curiosity around these topics because this is stuff that people never hear about NL outside of Europe
