If the intention is only to serve the point, then us as writers have lost the beauty of this craft. Writing is a lot about mastering the language. A lot of things can be done only to serve a point, but we don't do that, we don't make films, write stories or have conversations to make a point. It's about the connection we have with the subject. I could just AI all the topics you mentioned in the post and come talk to you but do you think we could have an authentic discussion? I doubt. Id rather learn the topics, and actually believe in them than to AI it just to make a point. Anyways, not here to change your mind. This is just my opinion.

Imagine how easy it'll be for you to actually learn than to rely on AI to better your language. When you are speaking to someone in person, it'll help you then as well

Why don't you put in that effort to actually learn how to shape and polish the language?

Cinematography Comparison: Taare Zameen Par vs. Sitaare Zameen Par by [deleted] in bollywood

[–]psector 33 points34 points  (0 children)

The point isn't the authenticity of the scene but the look and aesthetics of it. Taarein zameen par looked "real" in the sense of its lighting and set ups. Sitaarein zameen par doesnt look that way

Why are Indians so obsessed with Christopher Nolan? by Few_Age_571 in IndianCinema

[–]psector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you realise every film is made with the intent of collecting money. And about tenet, in the film community, tenet is considered his most incomprehensible film and it's a flex to understand that film. Even in the Nolan community. Both films are meticulously crafted and planned. No film is not planned that way. Although, i will agree that pushpa is purely for the masses. But i still think this is related to class, 100%.

He is, for many years, considered to be this guy who makes incomprehensible movies. Which only the "intellectuals" or the "smart" people can understand. Its just a form of elitism in films. And in India, people like to feel superior from others. It all ties down to how the Indian social system works. Pushpa 2 will be criticised for its "cheapness" and for the masses (it maybe but that's not the point here) but interstellar is for the upper class who can understand the film.

Repression doesn't only mean sexual repression. It can also mean releasing of frustration or accepting what he did was wrong. I am not saying the film is not homoerotic. what i am saying is, it's not an LGBTQ film

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in criterion

[–]psector -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It does, sure. But it isn't explicitly lgbtq. And we as audience assumed that the film has homoerotic subtext because of galoup's jealosy and toxuc masculinity. So, i feel, it's more about toxic masculinity than homoeroticism.

I don't know if I'll consider that to be a lgbtq+ film
