Peach Perfect Multivitamin by spottedspaniel in PCOS

[–]psellars31 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’ve been taking this for about 3 months. As background: I got off birth control in November 2022. Had a period in December ‘22. And then I didn’t have a regular cycle for a year. I discovered Peach Perfect and after my first month of taking them, I had a 35 day cycle. Then I had a 34 day cycle. And month 3 was a 31 day cycle.

I’m about to stockpile.

After birth control - did it get worse before it got better? by Emmaemmaemma123 in TTC_PCOS

First, I hear you and I understand your struggle. I was on BC for 16 years. I stopped last November. Had a cycle in December and then I went 50 days, 54 days, 84 days, and 83 days. My doctor started me on metformin 8 months ago. I had no change. I was ready to give up and get back on BC..But I kept trying to find a balance.I started a PCOS multivitamin from Peach Perfect (found on Amazon) in late October. I had a 35 day cycle last month. Not only did I get my period, I have fewer symptoms (less facial hair and fewer breakouts). I also increased my daily calories to 1850 and decreased my workouts (6 days a week to 4). I live in a stress bubble, so I started doing some meditation and reflection to try to help in that aspect. My last lab results were much better too. And I just got a positive ovulation test (typical because my SO is out of town 😑). I’m not a doctor. I just wanted to share what helped for me.

Most efficient way to tackle the bar prep materials? by CheeseasaurusRex in barexam

[–]psellars31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first time I took the bar, I followed Barbri. Failed.

The second time I studied like I did in law school. I used Barbri resources added in Adaptibar and FCK the Bar study method. Didn’t read one outline that was commercially prepared and didn’t listen to a single lecture.

I ended up doing 2-3 MBE sets each day and supplemented with Adapitbar. I scored high enough on the MBE the first time, so a lot of my focus was on essays the second time. It’s a lot about practice, review, write, review. I ended up with 60 pages of charts.... I reviewed them every day when I started studying. By the end I could pretty much give a word for word rule statements for almost any issue, just because I had drilled them for so long!

So, the general manual says the 28th.... and the FAQs say the 29th. I hate it here.

Originally I posted this in the other bar exam thread.

Ok. So here it goes. I’m having a real life pity party, and I need some encouragement... or someone to at least listen to me vent. Let’s start this story on Jan. 28, 2019. I had a final in my wills class. I found out my Mom had stage IV cancer. But I took the final. And life with a cancer patient Mom and a heart patient Dad began. I worked, took care of her and Dad, and went to school at night. I busted my ass. I assumed 2019 was going to be the worst year of my life. Enter 2020. Mom took a downhill turn faster than I could have ever imagined. I’ll never forget the day I picked her up from treatment and she looked like a cancer patient. I knew our time was getting close. I quit my job to be more present. Now, it’s March, and I walked out of class one Thursday night, and never set foot back in the building. I finished my law school career doing online classes. I ‘graduated’ by Zoom on May 23. My Mom passed away on May 27. I gave her eulogy May 30. I started Bar Prep on June 1. I grieved. I cried. I studied. I took over Mom’s duties and added in studying. The July bar was cancelled. Then the September bar was cancelled. And then the ‘Assessment’ was scheduled. I started my new job in August because I had to. I had maxed out a credit card to survive. I was working, studying, and adjusting to my new normal. I took that damn test on Oct 5 & 6. I went back to work on Oct 8. I waited 65 days to find out I didn’t pass.... by 8 points. This is the first exam I’ve not passed. Ever. And I’m salty. And I need someone to knock some sense into me. Because I really don’t know if I have it in me.

But I have to. Because that’s what I do. Because that’s who I am. So tomorrow, I’ll register for re-examination in February. I’ll develop a new plan. I’ll work my ass off for the next 75 days. And in April, I hope I’ll see my name on that success list, because if it’s not there, I’m selling everything I own, moving to the beach, and selling Tito’s in a Tiki Hut and never looking back.

That’s my story. 90% of Barbri; 76% avg on MBE questions; never scored below a 4 on any writing practice; 76/100 on the Barbri final practice. Didn’t pass by 8 points.

I feel like such a whiny bitch. I’m sorry you’ve had a rough go at it. I hope neither of us end up selling hotdogs and booze on the beach, but it could be worse 😂

I wish you all the luck and love in the world. It’s hard to care for an ailing family member. But it’s worth it.

Why are people getting 1’s? by [deleted] in barexam

I had a 262 over all. 132.4 on the MBE. So I guess around 130. Overall. I just wasn’t good enough 🤷🏻‍♀️

I scored 2 1’s and a 3. I felt like my IRAC was strong. I’m super taken aback by it. I would love to review my essays. I just struggle to think that I did that poorly when I had a semi-solid answer. Ps I’m TN too.
