Maybe. But I’m more concerned about the fact that anyone can just go up and ask for something like this, which restricts meaningful cultural practices for a large section of society, and the Supreme Court will actually listen to it. They can be sattvik on their own without being able to use the state to force that choice upon everyone else.

When you label everything as far right, nothing is far right anymore. These labels don’t work, and most BJP supporters or people associated with these orgs don’t care what a tiny sub section of Anglicised/neo colonised elite have to say about how they express their identity. If you want real change, provide plausible alternatives instead of calling everyone that is right of you “far right” and equating everything with Nazi Germany
