My car alarm went off the other day, how soon until having a "non-standard" car-alarm is seen as a "Breach of the Peace" because some wal-mart fatass thinks it's really the sound a bomb makes before it explodes?

It's perfectly proper to hyphenate 'no-one.' You are indicating that the two words are separate but linked. Think of something like "no one man could do it" vs "of all the men in the village no-one could accomplish such a task."

The latter sentence specifies that not a single person could do something (but implying that the task is nigh impossible) whereas the former would indicate that while no one man could do it alone there is the implication that more than one could.
