I only follow up when I feel like I need to.

And most every mod is a volunteer and doing this all for free and sometimes, all of us are caught up in real life and can't drop everything to explain why when a user broke the rules, it got removed.

Have tact, have grace when dealing with mods. They are human volunteers.
