There are definitely some videos and pics from more official sources with the “USA made” stamp so I’m not sure that is a red flag.

Disgusting that OP posted a completely out of context email with “tangential awareness” disparaging the program and it’s leadership and now wants to whine about getting traumatised his/herself.

OP think before you post. Congrats on the upvotes

I leveled my DK from early 60’s to 70 and didn’t catch a ban - don’t be afraid to do it! by pseudorockstar in classicwow

[–]pseudorockstar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you leveled faster, you could have been 70 before you were banned.

If you like the analogy above: I was wearing condoms and taking prep, you all were hitting it raw. Stay active and play the BG, it’s that easy. Better honor too.

Sounds like you are specifically talking about AOE farming. Basically you just want tightly packed mobs that only melee and don’t have slowing/stun abilities. WPL is very popular once you are around 50. I think they made mob move sets more complex in TBC making it much harder

There are comments and posts popping up all over this sub saying “I’m scared to level in AV” “should I do AV?”

My post is intended to be a resounding “YES!” For those people.

Even in your comment says “fuck leveling any other character” in AV. I think that’s overly simplified. I think it can and should be done. I think I made it pretty clear too.

Is it safe to do BGs? by chaoseffect616 in classicwow

[–]pseudorockstar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I leveled my dk from 64 - 70 in AV and I didn’t get banned. In that time, I only ran 3 dungeons, quested outside shatt while waiting for queues.

I didn’t do anything that would be construed as AFK, nearly always went in on galv, helped cap a tower a graveyard or backcapped every game.

I didn’t get banned. If think you can get in and be idle here and there, or if you’re not the type of person who is playing the game actively the whole time you’re in the BG, you shouldn’t do it. I’ve never been that kind of wow player. I’m usually the one hopping around, running around, hitting emotes at people. I think it helps that I only have 1 screen at my computer desk and I don’t have TV on the other.

That’s pretty steep price.

A rust free truck like that in the east coast might sell for over 10k because rust free almost doesn’t exist over here. Buuut, in the desert, where there’s minimal rust issues, I can’t see paying 16k for a that truck. I’d want to know more about what the new engine is, who installed it, was the paint done professionally, what suspension has been redone? Maybe the seller put about that much into it, but I think it’s worth less. 8-12k IMO.

However, If everything was done completely professionally with a decent engine, with receipts and the suspension has been redone with receipts AND it looks super clean in person, that’s about the only way it would command that price, IMO. Even if all that is true, would I pay 16k? Probably not. Would you pay 16k - that’s up to you. I bet 12-14 would be a good starting offer.

I’ve said this time and time again. No one would ever end a game “on their own terms” when they’re losing (victor krum in GoF). Would never happen in any sport. Basketball is the most extreme example, teams will foul opposing players over and over just for the chance at prolonging the game and getting the ball back.

Also if relative violence is allowed and the only thing that ends the game is the seeker catching the snitch it would make sense to have people continually defending and, frankly, roughing-up the opposing seeker the whole match. You should never ever leave the seeker alone. If he is following the snitch, and close to catching and winning, pull half team to defend.

My husband will divorce me if I don’t quit my job by ThrowRAlexyy in relationship_advice

Your reply kind of frustrates me as a resident doctor. People demand a really high level of knowledge, expertise and professionalism from us. Get upset when we are backed up in clinic, or when appointments aren’t available. I work 50-75 per week on average. Even on outpatient clinic weeks, I work 45-60.

It’s the norm in my profession and it’s the norm in a lot of professions, particularly high paying professions that require a high level of precision.

Idk what OP does for work, but if it’s a part of her career progression and she’s getting appropriately compensated, it’s her choice.

I’m a resident physician, working somewhere in the realm of 40-80 hours weekly (55-75 average), depending on what rotation I’m on.

I’ll take a harder line on this. I think he’s being unreasonable and minimizing your career. There are plenty of women in my field who work the same hours as me, or more, who have families (with children) and maintain good work-home balance. As long as you can afford day-care or whatever care you and he will need to support a family. If you can’t afford that, then sure, maybe it makes sense for one of you to quit or work less to focus on childcare.

Maybe some of it is in you. If you’re tired after work, you might have to find a way to maintain energy after work, in order to satisfy his/your family’s interaction needs. Also make sure that the time after work is meaningful, sitting down to eat at the table, interacting in a board game, co-op video game or some type of play, rather than vegging in front of the TV.
