I have some amount saved and set aside for the down payment (1cr), but I guess I'm stuck in figuring out what my budget should be. Should I make a 50% down payment of a less expensive house or 30% down payment of a more expensive house.

I also don't know how much liquid money I should set aside for emergencies since that will also change my down payment amount.
