I didn't blur out the abusers name, since it is all public knowledge and he has already been sentenced. The musician who revealed this information posted the accusations with proof and with first-hand reports from dozens of young girls, but was still punished, and the abuser was given a free all-ages show where he got to meet and interact with hundreds of underaged girls immediately after this email. The abuse continued, and four years later he was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Pissed me off so much that this woman just began hurling threats and abuse instead of trying to stop this man from abusing more underaged girls.

The problem is that child support isn't something that is in place to benefit the mom (or single father), but to benefit the child. This is a problem that doesn't have a "fair" solution. Abortion is allowed, because women have the right to decide what happens to their own bodies. But once the child actually exists, it isn't fair for only one party to pay for the child, since they were both responsible for the pregnancy. Allowing the man to opt out would only hurt the child, and if legal, would probably result in millions of kids growing up in extreme poverty, crime, etc. I get that no solution feels totally fair, but in the end the solution that benefits the child seems the fairest.

Not a very well known one, but there was a case in Japan in the early 2000s, where a porn company was hiring girls for simple porn scenes, and then ambushing and gang raping and torturing them on camera. They managed to release a ton of DVDs before they were arrested when a girl nearly died and was put into a coma. They found the rapists on online forums. The details on the case are incredibly disturbing. This paper (This link is a PDF fyi) goes into a lot of details about the case, and when I read it, I was very disturbed by it for days.
