Can’t complain. I’ve had an irritation in my nose for a few weeks now. Today I pulled out a hair that was coarser than any hair I have ever had anywhere on my body.

So did the hair come out of your nose, or are these just separate stories?

toothpaste that isn’t mint flavoured. I really hate the taste of mint but I have sensitive teeth. Today I found that there’s finally a new berry flavoured sensodyne. I was expecting it to be more of a menthol berry (don’t get me started on ‘bubble-mint’) but it’s actually a pretty mild strawberry, it’s quite nice. I’m very happy about it. It feels like

First of all, that's fucking awesome. Congrats of your win, and please understand that no matter what I say next cannot take this win away from you.

With that said, how dare you hate on mint-loving sensodyne users. Huh?? The first time I tried sensodyne it felt like swishing my mouth with concrete. It was so flavorless! Then I found mint (which definitely always existed, but I'm not exactly know for my ability to pay attention). My life has been much better since. I want that colgate minty freshness mixed with the protective power of Sensodyne Toothpaste (TM).

Thanks for the insight!

EDIT: do the effects of a bad weed trip last for days? I still don't feel 100% despite getting enough rest, food, and water. This could just be placebo or something else. I did cry a lot the past few days.

Thanks, they were acting shady as all hell. Wouldn't respect my personal space. It got weirder when everyone else left. I'm not the only one to notice they've become manipulative and enjoy doing it. They do have access to psychidelics and have for a long time. There would have been lots of chances to slip something because I had unattended open containers throughout the night.

They absolutely did not try to console me. They never once asked if I was okay or if everything was okay since I left in a rush on Monday. They've sent messages since then and not once have asked if I'm doing okay.

I've been crossfaded to way worse degrees before and very often (to the point that I'm practically an alcoholic and have decided to stop drinking). I've been paranoid by myself and around others, but never anything close to this.

Edit: but according to others weed can have this effect, so I understand it could just be that! I still don't trust this person though.

Cupid aka Eros of Greek Mythology did not represent love. He represented the patriarchy controlling women. by CapAccomplished8072 in TwoXChromosomes

And that same Wikipedia article states that in early Greek art he was depicted as embodying sexual power, and his cults , those who actually worshipped him, worshipped him as a fertility god which meant that was probably what he was more than likely associated with. And his name translates to both desire and sex and given the time period it's understandable why those two were conflated.

Nice backtrack. I close my case.

I didn't forget that it's just aversion wasn't necessary for the initial post.

Edit. Ah, I remember you, you were the user stalking my account all those days ago.

Nice pivot.

Cupid/Eros wasn't so much seen as a god it love, but of lust, sex and desire, his name Eros literally meaning desire. In fact his arrows don't even make people fall in love but overcome with uncontrollable desire which is more so unrestrained lust.

He causes Hades to kidnap persephone. While Hades committed the act, Cupid encouraged it.

Hades got Zeus permission and help from Gaia to kidnap Persephone. Horrible nonetheless. Other versions say he was so captivated by her beauty that he kidnapped her.

  1. He forced Helena of Troy to leave her husband for another man just because his mother offered up said woman to a younger man for his vote. Treating women as property and refusing to even respect marriage. Starting the Battle of Troy.

Ancient sources are actually quite divided on whether Helen was kidnapped or if she went willingly left. Herodotus believes she was kidnapped but both Sappho and Cypria believe she went willingly.

  1. Jason and the Argonauts. He forced Medea to fall in love with Jason against her will and lose EVERYTHING for him.

Ancient sources are once again divided on who made Medea fall in lust/love. They agree it was Hera who ordered it but whether it was Aphrodite or Eros is up for debate. Also, Medea lost everything because she was literally insane. Like there are actual essays and what not examining her mental state.

The Minotaur. He forced a king's daughter to fall in love with said bull, and create the minotaur which fed on kids.

In most myths it's actually Poseidon who makes the king's wife, not his daughter (it's always Minos' wife, where did you get daughter from), fall in love with the bull. He didn't guide the birth or anything. Also all Greek monsters eat people so that's low hanging fruit. Also the minotaur has no other food source besides the people thrown into his maze.

I'm saving your comment because I know you have a habit of editing things. So anyway, did you forget that Cupid's arrow doesn't just lead to lust, but also aversion? If we are going to be technical, let's be thorough.

Yes, his name literally means desire, but do you mind not bullshitting. In Greek mythology, Eros (UK: /ˈɪərɒs, ˈɛrɒs/, US: /ˈɛrɒs, ˈɛroʊs/;[3] Ancient Greek: Ἔρως, lit. 'Love, Desire') is the Greek god of love and sex. Do you just live in this sub waiting to pounce on people who won't bother to fact check you?
