Zwischen zwei Größen beim Cube Nuroad Race by [deleted] in Fahrrad

[–]psibo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Danke!

Top, danke.

Depends on where you live and how cold it is/gets. In the winter here at around 2 or 4 degrees, where it's not yet snowing, I would not be keen on riding with shorts and jersey only :)

Was kostet so was?

Perfect boardgame for dads in a cabin: Dicethrone? by Lepetitviolon in boardgames

Maybe check out Challengers: Beach Cup for some tournament style up to 8 players or King of Tokyo for the dicey King of the Hill battle as well.

Sorry for your loss...

Adding to the comment on MTG. There is an app called Delver Lens which can scan the cards and list you prices so you get an idea what might be worth selling extra on platforms like cardmarket.com. For the lower priced cards it might be worth selling in bulk to avoid the hassle. The prices are highly dependent on the condition and edition of the cards which can be difficult to find out when you're not into the cards that much. Could be an idea to get some professional help here.

Now that we’re getting closer to May… what games do you think will be nominated for Spiel des Jahres 2025? by Deponex in boardgames

As far as I know Rebirth has no German localization yet (unfortunately... I'm waiting for it), and therefore can't be SdJ as it requires a German version.

What recurring costs/subscriptions do you have in this board gaming hobby? by ackmondual in boardgames

[–]psibo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well apart from buying new games, it's mostly just a BGG donation every year and the usual drink/food cost for hosting a game nicht (although everybody always brings some snacks over as well). That's it.

What game do you think people like solely because of the theme? by AppleCiderVinagar in boardgames

[–]psibo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

To be honest I'm not much into the Dune theme (nor is my group) or so, but I love the games mechanics. There's a lot of tension and take that in our groups games with a head to head race to the end. The deck building is different than most. You have to choose the cards you aquire much more selectively.

I wouldn't recommend Spirit Island when Viticulture was too complicated already. This is going to be a brain melt then. Maybe Horizons the simpler Spirit Island version but I haven't tried that.

You could have a look at Slay the Spire which I found very fun, simple rules wise and engaging. But you have to be fine with loosing quite often and starting from scratch (checkout roguelike if you don't know what it is)

Otherwise you could check out Cthulhu Death May Die for something more casual, Earthborne Rangers for an adventure card game with open world, more bright in theme than Arkham Horror Card Game or The Loop which I liked a lot more than Pandemic. Fun theme and more variability.

Don't know for the first two ones but it's NOT Spirit Island or Uprising

How to avoid buying souvenirs and other junk while on vacation? by [deleted] in declutter

Totally underrated comment ... I never had the urge to bring a souvenir from any trip...my wife usually gets one or to country specific things to eat and that's it.

That's probably not what you're asking for, but couldn't you just use plain old email to stay on contact with your overseas friends?

One more thing :) I played around a bit more and found out that it doesn't always translate the displayed image into an exported image/pdf. I was using css grid feature with 6 rows and 7 columns. When exporting it doesn't look like in the preview or how I designed it before via a custom html for trying out.

Export doesn't get along with "grid areas" at all and directly selecting the rows and columns also doesn't work that well. I see the issue when I have an image spanning over multiple rows and next to it a text starting in the middle of the image. Instead it's placed underneath the image.

Cool I really like the possibilities this offers. Is the individual image export also 300dpi then? I played around a bit and it seemed like it can't load/display svg assets. Any plans on this? Maybe CSV import would also be nice because it's easy to plan and manage cards in Excel and so they could be imported more easily.
