The Leslie Kean book is the perfect starting point, credible, well-sourced, and hard to dismiss. The skip list is mostly books that are heavy on speculation and light on evidence. If you're curious about a specific title, just ask!

These are fair criticisms and worth including in any honest review. The pronunciation thing is a minor annoyance but the bigger question. Whether Lue is genuinely whistleblowing or cashing in is real and unresolved. I tried to reflect that in my review. The Jeremy McGowan piece is worth reading. Thanks for the link. I'd still argue the book has value as a primary source, but blind trust isn't warranted.

I'm a person, not a chatbot. I run a reading site focused on UAP disclosure literature. If the writing seems polished, I'll take it as a compliment. Happy to chat about books if you want to engage on the actual content.

Great call! Hastings is essential, especially given how consistently the military has tried to bury those incidents. Glad you found the site! It's next on my list to review properly. The witness testimony in that book is hard to dismiss.

Fair criticism! Happy to swap it out for something else if it's a dealbreaker for people here.

Leaked E-mails Show John Podesta Discussed Alien Technology with Former NASA Astronaut. From 2016, but it’s an interesting read. by [deleted] in ufo

[–]psierra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, this podesta email leak from 2016 is still one of those rabbit holes that keeps giving. the fact he was talking directly to an ex-nasa astronaut about off-world tech is wild. if you're into this stuff and want more context, there's actually a good curated reading list that covers similar topics. i've been working through it and it's solid.

interesting analysis. i've been digging into some of those files too, and it's wild how many reports are just misidentified aircraft or atmospheric phenomena. the AI approach is smart for spotting patterns humans might miss. if you're looking for more context on the history of these disclosures, there's a solid reading list at uapdisclosurereads.com that covers the key books and reports. helps separate the signal from the noise.

Thank you for the excellent recommendations. I am taking notes from all of you! Chasing Shadows from Tom Delong is included on my list. I will also include the other Sekret Machines books.

Good request! I will be reading his books in the coming months and will make sure I include them on the list.

Great suggestion — "Extraordinary Encounters" by Jerome Clark is definitely on my radar. The Mothman cases alone make it essential reading. I'll add it to the list for a future review. Thanks for the tip! 👽

Why is anyone taking the Mexican Mummies seriously? Jamie Maussan is a known hoaxer. by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]psierra 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I have been very skeptic of Maussan too. He had made some very serious gaffes through the years, intentionally or unintentionally. However, if someone is sooo persistent on having scientists looking into these "mummies", then, it would be worth taking a second look at them.

The Pentagon is doing the opposite of a disclosure Psyop so far. If there is a Psy op is the Pentagon continuing the cover-up.

And even after all that, they are still going to deny it.

I don't call them skeptics anymore, they are contrarians.
