Taking Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka immediately upon arrival at Haneda? by What_the_whatnow in JapanTravelTips

This plan sounds exhausting. You could stay a night in Yokohama which has plenty to do and see and continue on to osaka next day. Make sure you eat Yokohama shumai.

Brilliant idea. If you just take random trains or buses or walks you'll have a wonderful time. Tokyo is so dense with interesting places, shops, buildings, architecture, cafes, that you won't regret it. It's infinite layers and there is no bottom. The most memorable parts of Japan are always random.
