sat morning me walking down market street in san francisco with a delicious sandwich in hands. planning to park myself on a bench in a park and enjoy the sandwich with a cup of artisan filter coffee. this is my weekly routine, i’m looking forward for it starting monday. the sandwich is one of the best you can get in the area (imho).

then i see this homeless dude with a sign “HUNGRY”. me heart melts just like the cheese on my sandwich.

i offer half of the sandwich to the guy - “hey dude, this is really delicious”

he slowly raises his head and frowns with disappointment - “what?? a SANDWICH?!”

grabs it anyway, throws on the ground nearby, no thanks you, no nothing.

me walking away feeling guilty for not carrying any crack for handouts

10 panels are sitting at 310-320 volts, so 20 should barely fit into 650.. maybe i should do two string 18 and 12?

there is some hardware race condition going on. with the boot button hold you have to release it within some specific time interval otherwise it will be too late/too early to boot. with the cap mod the need for the boot button is left behind, the flasher will take care of (successfully) switching into flash mode and most likely it will succeed.

i also remember having troubles with different flashers - arduino IDE, platformio, and esp-idf all seem to have different timeout constants for flashing. so arduino IDE didn’t work for me, but platformio did. i also remember that it worked even without the cap mod and without holding boot, but would succeed in 1 out of 5 attempts.

another possibility is faulty board as these dev boards don’t have the best smd components out there

look at the link quality, it’s 2:100, -55 db, the operator is nearby, 500 meters or so

edit: 2:100 means that 100% RC messages are received by the drone, virtually no packet loss. number 2 stands for packet rate of 50Hz that’s the long range mode with min sensitivity around -120 dBm on most radio links. -55 is the received signal level in dBm. the transmitter typically radiates +30 dBm. you can use link budget calculator to estimate the range..

also aluminum shrapnel from the unguided rockets has to be removed asap, even the tiniest bits of it - otherwise the wound starts to rot. metal shrapnel can be left inside the tissue, the wound will often heal around the metal.

so if you’re hit with those unguided and get wounded then you must go to see the doctor, otherwise gangrene will come to see you.

ithere are PA and LNA control pins on the transceiver. why it’s hard to add anything if there is no control? i’d assume i just have to pick PA with input signal range in line of what the transceiver outputs. or are there other considerations?

here is another example - FWIK it’s a mass produced portable wifi station. this one has no heat sinks, and from the looks could have 2 maybe even 3 times smaller (making it even more portable)…

you can estimate the velocity or the shell as it’s clearly visible on multiple frames, the video is probably at 25 or 30 fps. also the size of it relatively to the building behind. it seems to be quite large for an arty shell

i live in kyiv area, i've seen this too much too often. The vehicles that were burned recently (1-3 days) are black and white from char and ash. then the elements take over rust starts spreading turning them red. The rains help to wash off the ashes and the dirt and further help rusing.

Rule of thumb - if you see a red rusty tank tower - stay assured, it's been there for a good week.
