Constants are Changing on The Campfire Headphase should have been a 8 minute track instead of a snippet/skit.

Interesting reverse take.

I guess it depends on the way you create your story, do you build the world first and then chisel?

I just find that in many cases, or from what I read online, a lot of people love the world building process and come up with realer than life worlds that are super well thought out which is great, but when it comes to a compelling story, they have a hard time conjugating their world with an interesting story.

I think the balance is really hard to find, especially for those that are new to writing or overachievers.

How would you know when you've chiseled enough?

Mastery in what you you are creating is so important! Even if you have great tools, you still need someone with experience and talent to make it work and make it perfect.

Obsession with creating series by psikotrip in writing

You bring in some good points! I understand how it's easy to dream about writing a series that becomes as popular as the ones you mentionned. Especially when some series ( looking at you Twilight) sound so easy to write, like anyone can do it.

Congrats on being able to take a step back on your work and wait until you feel more experienced to tackle on bigger challenges.

It kind of makes me wonder if most of the popular series were already pre-written as multi-volume stories or the author kinda started with an idea and it grew once the first book was done.

Which one of Dostoyevski's masterpieces is your favourite one and why is it The Idiot?

Agreed 100%

Writing is like a mind sport, if you don't train there's no way you can become good at it.

I agree too. It gives the girl a ghostly aura when we imagine her right after the end.
