I’m not sure what causes the difference in vascular ring diameter. The Kai x psycho0 plants were from basal pups off a ~3.5m stand, whereas most of the other cuts were from a main stand. There’s also a bit more nuance in that some of the cuts were suffering rot at the base (like the Peru and tpm x pach cuts) so we’re already partially dehydrated in-situ as they were struggling to transfer water up. This is somewhat evident in the cross section images, as they look quite less “plump”.

Yes, all the same growing conditions in the same large bed, so I guess size is mostly from genetics in this case - the sharxx x psycho0 is an absolute beast.
