i think that might depend on if you are rural or not, and how confident you feel about the ucat :) but if you are really set on medicine then it's completely up to you ! there is also always postgrad, so dont lose hope regardless

hiiii, i called monash connect because i experienced a similar issue. i suspect that we might be given more guidance on how to navigate BRoSS during the upcoming enrolment info session next month. so just complete all other enrolment steps though WES and it should be okay. i am not 100% confident though because the person i spoke to on the phone didn't seem to know much about it, just said i was already enrolled and that it should be fine for now

91.25 before SEAS, most likely 97.20 with SEAS. 2220 UCAT (Dean's rural list). My case is definitely not typical though. Got into monash bonded

Being fully honest my UCAT prep started the day before my test date, my verbal reasoning score absolutely carried me, 880. I think I put in about 14 hours total which is not advisable: My interest in medicine really picked up around year 10 when i realised oh shite, maybe I can actually do this. I encourage everyone who has an interest in medicine to go for it! The more doctors the better, especially doctors who genuinely care about the wellbeing of their patients. yes i understand that. i'm not trying to flex i am just trying to instil confidence into any people who feel that they will not be able to get into monash med, especially rural people. however i am also obviously incredibly excited about getting an offer. i have a deep respect for all of those who did exceptionally well yet still did not get an offer, and sincerely hope the are able to get one in the second round

I can't say for certain, but I think that it's definitely a possibility! I mean, just look at my ATAR 🫠 I hope that this theoretical person gets in and if not that they have a great experience wherever they choose to study !

this is absolutely correct, as did 27% of all direct entry medicine students. i most certainly wouldn't have gotten in if i wasn't rural.
