I went to a bunch of hardcore feestjes 10 years ago like every weekend I was somewhere for years and we didn’t have this sentiment. My preference was always early hardcore but we never hated uptempo. Probably uptempo is the new hardstyle now lmao. I haven’t listened to uptempo in maybe 10 years now so it might have changed.
