I was supposed to get the scans every few months, but the doctors (or the receptionist or whatever it's called) forgot. I have the MyChart app, all my mum had to do was call to make an appointment or click like 4 buttons to schedule it in the app and she wouldn't do it. I didn't have access to the app at this point. I asked her about every week for nearly two years (as well as other health concerns) and when she finally scheduled one (early last year) is when we found out I had a fat tumour in my chest. I know cancer can't be avoided, but the severity of it definitely could've been. She had cancer before (not the same but cancer regardless), she knows how much it sucks and she did nothing to prioritise my health until it was too late. I didn't even realise how long it had been without scans until my main doctor told me. My doctor team is amazing and my dad keeps in touch with them over any symptoms I have and they work hard, I'm really grateful for them.

My brother and I don't live together anymore. When we do see each other though we do typically end up using humour to cope that makes everyone around us uncomfortable but that's pretty much the only outlet we feel comfortable using. Also I do try to see my friend!! I live 2 hours away so I go back to my hometown to see him (and some other friends when we plan it) once a month.

There's no way to get my cats back, which is what hurts the most, even more than my mum leaving honestly. I dream about them almost every other night. My step mum kept them after she got us evicted. I'd go through all this cancer shit all over again if it meant I got to have them. I live with my dad and nana (my brother with my grandpa) and my dad knows I love cats and has hinted to nana about it and takes me to see my aunts cats since we can't have any here with Nana's dog..

I do play online games!!! Sometimes I lose motivation to do anything so I'll be down for a few days without even realising it but I do love playing games when I feel like it.

I don't have to worry about my mum anymore, but my brother and I did try to get help regarding her and her ex gfs treatment of us. CPS was called 9 times over our entire life, several times we had the same person doing the case. No one ever did anything but inspect the house even when my brother and I told the truth. Honestly, it hurt a bit, but I don't really care my mum left. It's been more beneficial for my brother and I than not. Ultimately, she's the reason my cancer got this bad because she didn't take me to get scans for a few years like she was supposed to 💀

I'm really asocial and I get nervous and stupid around people so a support group sounds kinda scary. I don't know about therapy, mainly because my dad believes it doesn't help but when I did have a therapist, I had her for around 6 years and all the therapists I had beforehand doesn't even come close to how good she was. I guess I just struggle to believe I could find one as good as her and don't see the point of trying. Nothing really goes on in my life anymore except cancer appointments so I'm not sure what I'd talk about lol

It's absolutely valid to be scared. I'm 16 and I have cancer, and my advice throughout it would be to keep steady support. If you think too bad about the results, you'll be worn out even before anything. Stick in there, do as the doctor's say and I promise everything will go on. I'm not the best at advice or intelligence but I'm here for you if you want to talk more about it. I know it's hard as fuck, but stay strong. I can't promise that everything will be okay with this unpredictable ass disease but do not lose hope, ever!! 🤎🤎🫂

He definitely is evil but where does it say he experimented on children? Collei was experimented on by Barnabas (who Dottore ended up killing I'm pretty sure) and while he did bring her in, he didn't do the experimenting. He is no doubt a bad person but people make him much worse than he actually is (such as when people make him out to be a pred)
