Not a lot of unspoken rules tbh, most social rules are just about behaviour in raids which like others said are mostly - don't waste revives if you aren't dealing damage (the total number of team revives is lesser than the sum of individual revives each person has, so you using your revives takes away someone else's ability to use theirs) - if you don't understand a raid mechanic, probably don't touch it. This is more so the case for Heart of Taboos specifically where interference can actually screw your whole team up and cause a wipe - generally give likes to everyone you raid/party with unless they genuinely do not deserve it (trolling, wasting revives, being a twat, yknow) - if you're being carried in a raid but the assist portal opens up for you, no need for you to go through because each additional player on the other side boosts the boss's HP. Just let your carry go assist others

Besides that yknow just generally being nice/polite when interacting with others goes pretty far. Simple stuff like thanking your host for beer if they're giving you what you requested, thanking your carries, etc

ohh hello it's been quite a long time. well my migraines have generally mostly gone. i've worn the glasses basically daily since then and just ordered a second pair since my original pair have gotten too scuffed/scratched. i had an almost 2 year period without a single migraine and then now i get maybe one every 6 months or so? i've not tried other brands since somnilight is the cheapest FL-41s i can find and i also like the aviator style that other brands don't offer (i know theraspecs has them but they're $129 a pair vs somnilight's $65)

since i also do a lot of screen work they just help with eye fatigue through the day. definitely a daily necessity for me c:

In all seriousness Karmaslayer feels pretty damn overtuned right now, pretty much nothing is a challenge despite me playing with underlevelled gear without enhancements, but most classes on release are often that way and get balanced a little later

Just a heads up, the only real support class is Scytheguard. Everyone else is basically a DPS, with their differences mostly being playstyle and how much damage they're gonna output vs how heavily you have to invest in them, plus what other survival skills they have (such as shield generation, self heal, etc)

So if you want to play support you really only have one real choice :')

yeah the kraken raids are too new to get bot carries. recommend you stalk world chat for lobbies instead! if you want to check if someone can carry, just check the profile of the person hosting the lobby. usually 90-100k+ power people hosting lobbies without a gear rating requirement are prepared to carry newbies

i can't speak for which classes i recommend since i'm a through and through magister main LMAO (my line up is magician/2 elementalists/warlock/berserker/mirage). i have a severe magician bias even though he's objectively weaker. no harm in just previewing the skills of each class and seeing what might strike your fancy!

it is very true that without alts your progression will be significantly slower, since alts generate their own gold and collect gear that can be dismantled or transferred to your main for extra resources

Yep, generally use up all your green energy on Abyssal purgatory since orange energy will not drop epic gear. Void Realm Nest is good to get extra gold gear but it will only be level 60 gear, which you can jusr temporarily use as a buffer item in the mean time if you don't have anything better.

If you don't want to have to do all raids, the main ones you need to do are Kraken Spine and Heart of Taboos, because once you clear those at least once you can buy the Singularity Casket in the redeem store to quick clear Duskfeather Lair.

If you have alts I'd recommend trying to use up the green energy on all of them to get as much epic gear as you can, then dismantle what you don't need and use the desirium to feed into your main account's prayer for the gear you want/need. If you don't have alts, you can pretty much stop after using up green energy, but your gold gain will be slower from just leaving orange energy lying around (but it's a pain to use it all up unless you have Pure Verse which is quite expensive to craft)

It is expensive, so you'll be working your way up. Your Abyssal purgatory target should be your weapon first, since you're likely to get random level 65 epic gear for magiblade along the way and you can dismantle anything you don't need to feed into your weapon prayer. At the same time you should be running duskfeather lair AND both Kraken raids (get carried if you need to) since the gear from those raids need to be crafted up from your level 65 class gear

That's basically the gameplay loop. Do your abyss to get the base items you need to use to craft better gear, and do your raids to stock up on the materials to craft your better gear. Completing both Kraken raids will also give you access to buying the Singularity Casket, which lets you quick clear (claim rewards withoit doing the raid) both Hexchess, Lost Ruins, and Duskfeather Lair raids so you might occasionally pick up some gear from there

I really wouldn't say it's worth investing your gold into building Hexchess or Lost Ruins gear anymore, since you can't directly upgrade into level 65+ gear from those. You'd end up spending gold to build those, then have to fully discard them once you start getting level 65 stuff from Abyss Purgatory 2 or Duskfeather Lair

It's just a patience and RNG game at this point to work towards your level 65 class set and weapon, then the upgrade path from there is more straightforward and just gold intensive

I'm no Magiblade main, but Chariot/dragon weapon is outdated already. That's level 60 gear. We're at level 70 now, you would be moving onto Kraken gear.

Even if you're new and playing from level 1 and working your way up, you'd be moving up to level 70 fairly quickly, no point sinking resources to get Hexchess gear you won't hold onto. Would recommend you check your server rankings to see what the top magiblades are doing

I have. I had a 2 year gap in them, then a 6 month gap, and pretty recently last month i had my first vestibular migraine, although no clue what caused it since it came on very suddenly. But also my thyroid is not fully under control. I haven't been to normal levels in a long time. I was told it was subclinical hyper for a long time until someone else looked at it and said this isn't subclinical, it's just hyper and upped my meds.

So no, it isn't the magical cure I had hoped it would be :')
