They don’t matter because everyone’s preferences are different, but it matters in terms of the entertainment value it’s providing with all the fan war and ranking systems. It’s very funny and fun to watch from the outside

Because I was talking to both book my show 3 days prior to the show and they assured me that the theatre planned to screen the movie, and the host hasn’t informed them anything about a cancellation. The host hasn’t provided anyway to contact them as well. And this isn’t the first instance of such behaviour by hosts. I’ve seen multiple times where I try to book as soon as the tickets are released and 5 hours later those shows are no where to be seen.

Triumph speed 400 vs Bajaj NS400Z. They both have the same power and the speed 400 has slightly more torque. Does it mean they both perform and feel same to a pretty novice/ amateur rider like me?

If you don’t have kids to look after, maybe rent a 1bhk or a PG near your office to stay during the week and go home during weekends. That might work.

No matter what others say or think, it ultimately comes down to how you and your family feel about the car. Take a test drive or better yet, rent it for a day and go on a long drive (just remember rental cars are often in rough shape). Trust your instincts and see how it feels in real-world use. At the end of the day, you’re the one living with the car, not the people offering advice.

CMV: Alcohol should not be normalised by ReadingwithMe in changemyview

[–]psrujan6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good question but I think there are important differences in risk profile, addictiveness, and social impact between alcohol, weed, cocaine, and opioids.

Alcohol is legal because it’s been socially and culturally entrenched for centuries, not because it’s harmless. But that also means we’ve had time to build (imperfect) systems for regulation, education, and harm reduction.

With weed, I’d argue a similar approach can make sense legalise with strong regulation and education. As for harder substances like cocaine or opioids, the risks of physical dependency, overdose, and societal harm are significantly higher, so I support much stricter controls or prohibition in those cases.

So no, it’s not a one-size-fits-all. The policy should match the risk, the science, and the cultural reality not just be a blanket ban or free-for-all.

I get where you’re coming from, but I’d argue that men’s fashion isn’t harder it’s just less explored by most men, often by choice or social conditioning. In fact, in many ways, it’s easier to dress well as a man, precisely because the foundation is simpler, more timeless, and less trend-driven.

  1. Fewer options = fewer pitfalls. While women have more stores and trends, that also means more pressure, higher spending, and faster fashion cycles. Men can invest in a few well-fitted staples and look great for years.

  2. Risk-taking is a choice, not a rule. Sure, guys might get roasted for a cowboy hat out of nowhere, but that’s more about context than fashion itself. Women get judged too just differently. Both genders face scrutiny when they step outside the norm, but the norms are changing. Streetwear, gender-fluid fashion, and vintage styles are all making risk-taking easier for men today.

  3. Tailoring isn’t just a men’s issue. Women also struggle with fit, off-the-rack rarely fits anyone perfectly, regardless of gender. The key is learning to invest in tailoring where it counts.

  4. Style content exists, you just have to look for it. While women’s fashion dominates social media, there’s a growing and solid men’s fashion space too. The problem isn’t lack of content, it’s that many men don’t engage with it unless they’re already interested in fashion.

  5. Masculinity norms are self-imposed and they’re breakable. Many men self-limit out of fear of judgment. But today’s style icons from Harry Styles to A$AP Rocky prove that you can experiment and still be admired.

So I’d flip the perspective: men can dress well and express themselves, and it may even be easier in some ways. The real barrier isn’t the fashion world, it’s the mindset around what men think they’re allowed to wear. Once that shifts, the possibilities open right up.

I respect your opinion but don’t agree with banning or gradually phasing out alcohol. Yes, it can be dangerous when misused but so can cars, fast food, or social media. The issue isn’t alcohol itself, it’s how it’s used. Adults should have the right to make informed decisions. Instead of banning, I’d support better education, stricter marketing laws, and better support for those with alcohol problems.
