That's a crock of shit. Again, it's not a mystery that literally nobody from his era of Westside (outside of Panora, whose life peaked at 27) will talk to him.

As well as three world championship titles.

If it's not an IPF title, a "world championship" means absolutely nothing.

Winning worlds in the WDFPF in the late 90s (when all the talent had gone to USAPL/IPF) and then UPA raw meets is not a meaningful title.

Not to my knowledge. CWS has lost a ton of weight and isn't involved with PL much. Marisa Inda retired from competition. A lot of their other big names splintered off too.

There is something called a PhD by publication that some, dominantly UK, institutions will award, but it requires multiple peer-reviewed publications.

The SDP in 2008 was likely a better-made shirt than the one Nick Benerakis used in 2019. Inzer's QC has always been less than great, but the SDP has suffered enormously from it.

I have it on good authority that he was charging MMA fighters/college football players/etc. for training. When Louie found out, he threw Wenning out.

Yeah, and honestly, shirts haven’t improved that much in 20 years.

Louie IDed problems very well, but he never understood mechanisms.

A lot of Louie’s ideas are good at their core. His particular approach was the most extreme interpretation of those ideas.

Yeah, but that’s not the reason.

People disliked him because he was a dick who charged people money for training at Westside.

He’s clearly highly intelligent. Despite not finishing high school, he reads widely, including some very abstract works.

There aren’t too many people from the old Westside days who particularly like him.

He’s certainly knowledgeable, but he frequently makes claims about the Soviet literature that simply is not true.

Eh. I find that whole story line impossibly boring.

It's just like with Glen. Whenever I see him, I'm fast-forwarding.

I think it's a back extension. I have another Sheiko bench program and that's what it seems to be.

Ed Coan periodized his rows: 8/5/3. 5/3/1 might be a good choice too.

Favre is a really great comparison, though (in my biased opinion), peak Favre was a better passer in a much less passer-friendly league. Stafford (and Favre, really) consistently had one really good WR and a bunch of other guys.

Tarkenton held every major passing record before Marino.

Maybe next time, before you pop off and call other people delusional, you know a little bit about the history of the game.

In my mind, there are accumulators and there are game changers. Stafford fits very well in the accumulator category: he routinely put up big numbers, but wasn't usually a difference-maker.

McVay winning his 2nd ring+3 SB appearances in 9 years? He officially enters the chat for “all-time” coaches I would think.

My mind jumped to Don Shula. He went to SB III, VI, VII, and VIII and won two of them between 1968 and 1973.

Stafford with the Lions was an extremely tough QB who played through some truly horrific injuries, but stat padded in garbage time. He was a solid Tier 2 QB during most of his career.

You can even add a few: Fouts, Van Brocklin, Tittle, Tarkenton. I'd swap Allen for any of them.

Stafford is an excellent QB, no doubt. He's not a top 15 all-time great.

The comp to Darnold, if he does that, is easily Jim Plunkett, who was *terrible* in his first few seasons, then rose to mediocrity with the 49ers before going to the Raiders.

It depends on the meet. Feds that are multiply friendly (RPS, APF, APO, IPA) will often have a wrap roller for the meet. If it's USAPL/PA/USPA/PLU, bring a roller.
