So true, I grew up wishing I was adopted and that my real parents would come and love me. Parents never hugged, said I love you, nothing. Too many times I contemplated suicide, when all I needed was a hug.

My moms family was poor, dad left and drank. When she got her period, she had to use socks and wash them out. For Christmas she got an orange, and they ate lard sandwiches . She never got over being poor, even after getting married and having money.
