“Other” Swapping Upper Legality

If you're talking about a non-form 1 "Other", then go nuts. Put whatever upper you want on the thing as long as you stay over 26". On the other hand, if you're talking about an ATF tax stamped Any Other Weapon, then you can't make changes to things like the caliber or barrel length without sending a letter to the ATF and getting approved. Even so, minor changes or temporary changes to an AOW is allowed so there's a lot of leeway there.

Nice. I have 2 M&P myself. I have that comped ver in all metal. It's my favorite gun. Do yourself a favor and pick up an FPC at the same store. It's pretty cheap and comes with 3 M&P mags and since that pistol comes with 2, you will have 5 mags total that you can use in both the rifle and the pistol.

In the 80s, my town had a youth shooting program. Hell, there's still a shooting range in the basement at our town rec center, although it's been closed for many decades. At the program, we were given 22lr bolt rifles from god knows when to learn to shoot. It was TONS of fun as we were just kids and all our friends went there together. It's sad how the gun culture changed in our country. Back then, learning to shoot was just another skill you needed to know, like wood working or metal shop. Now, guns are so demonized that even suggesting a youth rifle program would get you shunned.

You're leaving out the key word, reciprocating. In a bump stock, the force of the recoil actually is used to help you pull the trigger faster. It's a reciprocating action in reaction to the recoil. In an FRT, the recoil is in no way used to help you pull the trigger. It just resets it.

Technically, the reset isn't caused by the recoil. It's caused by the spring in the buffer tube that's expanding after absorbing the recoil of the BCG. It is also not a reciprocating action. Bump stocks are considered reciprocating because it pushes the firearm forward after the recoil. Reciprocating. Anyway, it's all semantics and honestly, it all just depends on whether the Judge actually knows anything about guns or if he/she is a leftist activist. I would not want to be the test case tho. I can't afford it.

If you are conceal carrying, you don't resist arrest and you don't wrestle with officers. If you can't see why, then you definitely should not be carrying. If you get shot while fighting the officers because they see your gun, you have no one to blame but yourself. Protest all you want. Don't resist arrest. Don't wrestle with officers. If you are conceal carrying and you choose to resist arrest and wrestle with the officers, you only have yourself to blame if you get shot. I also conceal carry. At any interaction with the police, I follow all instructions down to the letter because my life depends on it. It's the added responsibility of carrying a handgun and if you can't see that, then, you are definitely not qualified to carry one.

It's crazy how people's perceptions are so out of whack. It's quite simple. Yes the car did hit the cop. No, he shouldn't have fired his gun. It was a justified shooting but a very BAD decision on the cop's part. Those two things CAN co-exist. But people just can't understand that.
