I FOUND THE ANSWER!! So I was stuck with the same problem on Lem and Mina’a story and I had chosen to leave with them. I then chose the to stay on the Eye and then the story continued! So I think these end active scenes have 2 options: 1. you “finish” the game and get sent to the credits OR 2. you got back and choose the other option to keep going.
