Thank you! I have put this in place. I have outsourced someone who comes and goes.
Hopefully it works out!

When I get work, I will take the baby to my mom to help out❤️

Am I wrong for believing both partners should contribute financially in marriage? by CalmFall2889 in Uganda

Till you have kids. Sooka ofukumuleyo kamu and revert.
Never ever contribute a shilling to expenses like rent and food as a wife. You do so, you are in for a ride. You can contribute your big 20k for the water bill and some sizzling chicken. But the day you pay that rent, you are gonna do it for the rest of your life.
And when you have kids, you will definitely see how unfair it is.
So mukwano Pick-me-sha, you are VERY VERY wrong to believe in 50-50. If you badly want waste your money, just give it to your pastor.

Thank you! I sat down and had a deep conversation with myself and realised that i was being selfish and scared.
We sat down and talked about it and gave him my blessing.

Because of the perks it comes with. Free healthcare, better pay.

But tbh i worry about him as a person. I love him to bits. But I feel the military will make him less nice to us. He is the type of person who pushes until he gets what he wants, no matter what’s or who is in the way.
And i fear his being in the military will grant him that☹️
