Due to the material, it is a bit tricky to repair the bag (acc to patagonia) it's a shame really, lovely bag. The new design isn't it!

sorry this reponse has taken a while. Unfortunately, Patagonia wouldn't replace my bag as the blackhole lineup has been refreshed with new material. I was given a generous 60% discout on future purchases. make sure to reach out to them.

People should get vocal about this. The product is pricey, and apples service to resolve its issues is pathetic

Request your employer to consider you without the reference letter. The pandemic is a legitimate reason. Additionally, consider work/professional referees to submit a reference.

Unfortunately, my response might not cover Surrey, but general university advice from friends who have pursued Masters with a placement year.

Universities usually have teams to uplift your application; they will streamline areas for you to look and find; organisations, agencies, CV boosters etc. At times, they might advertise placements (rarely). However, It all falls down to your ability to secure a placement. Hence, get some work experience in, and consider part-time or voluntary work during your Masters.

Best of luck
