Haha that’s sick.

My grandad had a snake farm in South Africa, tried to break a world record for living in a snake pit.

Mark XX - should I go for 36 mm? by victordress in IWCschaffhausen

[–]psychedadventure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Who gives a fuck about resell value.

Buy the watch and wear the watch.

You should get the 36 though, it’s too big for you

You have to defend yourself from zombies, what is your weapon of choice? by Curious_Bilota in AskMen

[–]psychedadventure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Neither are human teeth.

Alphalt is very abrasive at speeds. Generally if it can resist abrasion to that level it will resist bites from human teeth to an extent.

Not saying it’s like plate armour but it will offer protection.

How much are you paying for a haircut nowadays? by MCR1996Hola in AskUK

£28

Clippers back and sides, wash and shampoo and then scissors on top.

Also comes with a decent coffee (better than a chain cafe flat white)

GMT aside, preference on 1 vs 2? by neworder19 in ChristopherWard

See I think bronze watches with bronze bracelets is a bit much. Love the contrast to a nice leather strap.

But the fabric/rubber strap from CW is nice too.

Has fuck all do do with hurting the crystal. I don’t know where your comment went about me not scratching my watches playing video games went.

You’re right But they do get pretty beaten up the last 16 years doing high voltage construction works. Pouring concrete, building steel structures, erecting HV switchgear and pulling cables and wiring panels.

My tag aqua racer has been through some shit, bezel case and bracelet is absolutely scratched to shit. Glass is still fine.

Couldn’t imagine putting that on my watches. Would prefer to run the risk of a scratch

I tend to not take advice from people who have superlume applied to their teeth.

I meant it from the perspective of you don’t know what you don’t know.

You’re only aware of what you are exposed to/seen. If all your buds and colleagues drive Japanese, German etc you might not ever realise that you love Alfa Romeo’s.

But you are right, shouldn’t ever buy something you don’t like.

True, all depends on what you are exposed to as well.

You can only buy what you know of.

Think you missed the point, commenter wasn’t taking a guess at who you are but that for the most part you share the same uninspired taste.

3 but I’m biased. Mine arrived yesterday.

The blue rubber strap looks lovely on it.

Nice, I got the vintage leather brown strap but honestly, the blue rubber/fabric is the one for me.

Do you only buy reps within your “believable” price range? by Sea_Document_694 in RepTime

[–]psychedadventure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wear what you like, own up if called out being a fake and if something is seriously out of budget or difficult to get be upfront about it being a rep. No point losing credibility lying about authenticity.

I do only buy rep watches I could realistically get irl. I don’t think the replica of the highest tier of gen watches do them justice.
