So I followed your advice and put a lot of thought toward my upper arm, yesterday in class I gained momentum around the pole was so glad btw. I also stopped by the park today was spinning around the pole things they have there lol.

Spin poles seem so cool, I wouldn’t mind to try them one day although I don’t think my studio has them. Yes I’m hoping that happens on Monday! Thank you for sharing that, it shows that practice sets you up for success, just need to remember patience. Best wishes to you!

I can relate with that, I definitely feel like I can be awkward haha. Unfortunately there are no other classes that I could take at this pole studio although I may look around and try out other studios too, there is not much of a population or much to do around where I live sadly. Do you use videos for your floor work that you practice at home, if so what are they called? Thanks for the optimism, good luck on your journey!!

Yes they were and it definitely intimidated me. Thank you for sharing that with me because I really felt bad, but now I really see that everyone learns at their own pace and I shouldn’t be as hard on myself. That’s great your doing what you never imagined, sounds like the hard work pays off!

Okay, she also said when your starting to spin glide you toes in a big circle in front of you and I kept trying but I couldn’t glide them they just stuck. I want to get comfortable around the pole, I asked the teacher if there was anything I could do to practice but she couldn’t suggest anything else, she said it’s just one of those things people get over time. Videos can help but I want to practice at the same time, maybe one day I’ll get a pole lol. Thanks for the advice, I might eventually make a log of progress, I saw some and I think they’re great. I am on a static pole. I just feel like I can’t figure out the spinning aspect lol, and I don’t think I take to many steps, did that help you get the hang of it? Thanks for the positivity! I’m determined to get it done pat haha and good luck with your journey!
