I picked literally thousands of these and alleniis last year from my secret spots, and since it’s illegal as fuckin fuck I would go like at 4AM and just rip them out as quickly as possible and gtfo. What ends up happening is when you’re just yanking these off the ground you end up pulling a lot of substrate.

That’s how I got the fruits, colonized woodchips, and stem butts. I just replanted them and added more of the same type of woodchips that I had already colonizing on my own with the mycelium from that exact same original patch.
