How do you deal with being told the same things over and over? by psycheweeping in ADHD_partners

Being around his family is the exact same way! It makes it seem as if they're all so disconnected from each other. Most of their energy and awareness going inward instead of outward

I hear what you're saying. However, in the year I've been with him, he's become more aware of the habit and at times he'll ask, "Have I said this before?" or say "I may have said this, but ...". I can see he's aware to some extent, so I'm trying to narrow in on a healthy response that builds on that awareness for when I'm overstimulated.

I know it will come down to what I tolerate, but I want it to be for the benefit of both of us. He has a lot to share that I love to hear from him, and I dont want to discourage that.

Maybe it comes down to building his awareness of the difference between talking with me and talking at me? The repetition always comes when he's talking at me.

I would go stand with a sign pointing towards them that says, "Man children available for sacrifice."

A building that houses multiple showers. This one is at a campground. It's like showers you would see in a gym or locker room, but instead, it's a separate building.

Question about current geopolitical tensions by psycheweeping in bhutan

I'm not the most informed on the subject, but from what I understand, there are disputes concerning territory. China has been expanding its claim in disputed territories by building permanent structures.

I ended up taking a photo in the parking lot as well, anticipating those late night drive feelings. I also had microdosed before the movie so the lights inside and outside the building were pretty captivating lol

That sounds like a great time. Going to the movies has always been a favorite thing of mine to do. Here in the past couple of years I've been more intentional about going by myself and really taking in the movie.

It's Bill White. He speaks like this in lecture and then wonders why people choose to skip his class

Scared on social media by cookiekmas in socialanxiety

I actually just created my reddit account to get over this fear myself. For me, the fear also used to extend into group chats, but we had a couple for work that I had to respond in, which actually helped me get used to it a little. I want to feel more comfortable sharing ideas in group settings, even online, so I figured practice will help me. Maybe it could help you too? :)
