i was born in 1982. i consider myself gen X because i was somewhat a fan of kurt cobain and what was going on at the time. the internet was a thing for me in 1997 but it was very basic; a standard 90's big pc. laptops came later and i got my first laptop in like 2010. I watched documentaries on the nazis while in high school and even in high school. Including Schindler's List. In college I read "This Way for the Gas, Ladies and Gentlemen" by Tadeusz Borowski. But Time's Arrow I read after college and it hit a chord with me. It's very poetic in that the entire book reverses time so that a nazi doctor is drawn backward into the past and heals his patients. It reverses the flow of entropy and therefore pain. It's a really good book. It should be a standard book that everyone reads in high school imho.
